talkin' about liturgy

Finally, another podcast - don't I say this every time? So, here we go, Passion Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week, and I had and made the time and expended the energy to put this thing together. I think, if I keep doing this regularly, I'd like to get a new microphone, a nice one, that's made for this kind of thing. Too much hissin' goin' on here.

So, the topic for this podcast is Liturgy - what it is, how it works, why it's important, etc.
  • passion sunday
  • liturgy
  • ancient catholic faith
  • organic church
  • no structural form is not good
  • liturgy as skeleton of the community
  • liturgy wars
  • easter vigil announcement

on being post protestant & spiritual disciplines > a discussion > part 3

Finally, here is part 3 of my discussion with Kyle about various, yet connected topics. This was, as I said before, long podcast so I chopped it up into 3 pieces. This is the final installment. I think it's a good one. This discussion includes the following:
  • Continued discussion of catholicity, why it is important to be a catholic Christian.
  • The concept of being post-protestant.
  • We love Benedict XVI.
  • Roman Catholic connections.
  • Spiritual disciplines, their importance, how they do and do not work.
  • On living to "please God."
  • General silliness.
