Being unprepared I tell you that is what I am and what I hate being - Unprepared. Katey has the flu. We all have to take medicine, her to help her feel better, and us to help us keep from getting it. It is called Tamaflu and costs about a months worth of gas. Damn!! For a lot of people that would just crush them financially. Fortunately the month isn't out and I have more shifts to work to help make up the cost of this little surprise. So, you all pray for her, she is doing better today but the Dr. said it could hang around for several more days. I have mentioned this before but it is well worth mentioning again. My older sister turned me onto Financial Peace University about 4 years ago and it pretty much saved my life. Well, the principals of it, and Alan getting a better paying job. We as a society have gotten caught up in the quick fix and instant gratification. Let me tell you this stuff works. It is hard once you have gotten yourself into a bad financial state, but if you hook into this and live it, it works and literally gives you peace - you have to work for it and go through some life changes, but it is worth it. I just reread Dave Ramseys Total Money Makeover again and I wish I could get a lot of people to read and buy into the idea. If you can get your hands on a copy then you should read this stuff. posted by Liz at 9:49 AM - permalink - - |

| Here is my blog. It is the thoughts and feelings of an "aging," homeschooling housewife who serves at a local restaurant. I am an average everyday normal kind of person, although my "normalness" becomes less so in today's society. Read on and enjoy or just realize you may not be the only one.
