My blood pressure I just took it and it is 104 over 58 with a resting heart rate of 68. Seriously. It has always been like that, it was lower when I was pregnant. Ridiculous, huh? Alan said I should run a marathon - I would die in the first mile. Maybe with some conditioning I could do it - ok a lot of conditioning.Seems the women in my family have always been strong of body. My Grannie broke her hip twice and if she hadn't had Alzheimer's I think she would still be going. My mom I think would be the same way, if she didn't have polio. As she is getting older, that disease just gets worse, and it is upsetting her as she can do less and less. It "gets" you again in your 40's and she has been going down hill since then. A very strong woman, and stubborn as any mule you would want to compare her to. I love her and all her faults, think she needs to change some but what can you do. Maybe if I pushed myself I could be one of those Fitness America women who have 4 kids, get overweight, then make themselves look like they do. I also may be S.O.L. I think I am too old for the skin to shrink back where it should be. Oh, well, I just may have to settle for a good blood pressure. | Here is my blog. It is the thoughts and feelings of an "aging," homeschooling housewife who serves at a local restaurant. I am an average everyday normal kind of person, although my "normalness" becomes less so in today's society. Read on and enjoy or just realize you may not be the only one.
