It's been awhile and here is my reason why.... I am what you would call a "private" person. When I am in pain, or mentally wore out, or stressed, I do not like to share that with people. I want to hole up somewhere and just let it pass without sympathy or understanding or anything from any one else. I think that might be pridefull, not sure, still working on that. I do not like it when someone complains and whines and in general HAS to let people know when they are miserable. Not taking about the one on one, friend to friend kind of sharing, but the "Oh, my aching back! (loud sigh or noise)" in a group of people and then the inevitable covert glance around the room to see how many people took notice of their plight, kind of thing. I think that is pitiful and VERY unattractive, no matter who does it. Anyway, I know why I am this way, it was how I was raised. It is a Baptist thing (that is where I see it coming from because it was prevalent in every Baptist church I went to and still see today in those born and raised Baptist) I need to work on it - A LOT!! So, I said all that to say (in a room full of people - HA!) I have been a bit stressed, wore out and mentally unstable and had nothing to say on here. I just think this is really funny that I am sitting here doing what I really don't care to see others doing. ANYWAY, not a lot going on. If you are here I am sure it is because you came from Alan's blog so you know what we have been up to lately. Meaghan is doing really well with her arm. Went to the doctor on Wednesday and he is happy with her progress. She still needs to use her arm more but in general the bone is knitting together how he likes. I haven't gotten nearly enough stuff done this summer. There is still tons to do and yet I find myself procrastinating a lot and just sitting around and being on the computer and just about anything and everything to keep from doing what needs to be done. Okay I find myself heading toward a pity party so I am going to quit while I am ahead. posted by Liz at 9:00 AM - permalink - - |

| Here is my blog. It is the thoughts and feelings of an "aging," homeschooling housewife who serves at a local restaurant. I am an average everyday normal kind of person, although my "normalness" becomes less so in today's society. Read on and enjoy or just realize you may not be the only one.
