I don't think we should watch the News The reason I don't think we should is because of something that Alan said to me once, or maybe twice knowing him. It is that we weren't made to hear and handle all the sadness and destruction and in general nasty stuff you see on the news all the time. Before television and radio how did people hear about stuff? Word of mouth. And usually a long time after the event, unless you were located quite close. Of course people knew and heard about stuff in their own community and family but all the things we hear about today isn't what we should be hearing. I think, can't remember, but I heard about all the crap going on over in Israel just in general and quickly on the TV yesterday. Alan gave me a more detailed description this morning. I don't know that silly is an accurate word, but that sure is what I am thinking. Of course, I don't know the full details as to how many soldiers and what not, but DAMN, to just go after people like that. If it is like a couple of thousand(9-11), I think I might understand a little. Anyway, I just don't think we were meant to hear and deal with so much bad stuff. That is all I am saying. posted by Liz at 8:28 AM - permalink - - |

| Here is my blog. It is the thoughts and feelings of an "aging," homeschooling housewife who serves at a local restaurant. I am an average everyday normal kind of person, although my "normalness" becomes less so in today's society. Read on and enjoy or just realize you may not be the only one.
