Joy of Nature Sunday night I had a great surprise. We were in the midst of our community meeting and I happened to look out the front door and got a glimpse of a Humming bird. Then today, as I am sitting on the deck drinking my coffee, Alan comes out and points out that the bird is hovering around our willow tree. I have a humming bird feeder out, but he/she didn't come visit while I was sitting there. I want a good look so I can tell what kind it is. I have intentionally planted flowers that will draw them, and it appears it has paid off. And we have a good little flock of golden finches as well. I plant sunflowers for them and now that they are ripe, the birds come and eat while you sit on the deck. Pretty cool. We have been given a last reprieve on selling this house. We have until August 15, so please pray for us. I have a realtor friend coming by tomorrow to see if she can determine why we aren't getting any offers. So, I am rewriting the newspaper ad, maybe that will help. And I have been doing some touch up painting. I just can't figure it out myself. I am sure there is something we just aren't seeing. Although, we have to be doing something right because we had a couple come in and actually ask what the next step was. Unfortunately, a previous plan they had thought wouldn't work ended up working and we were out. I can only shake my head and wonder why. We just might have to give in and take a lot less for the house then we had hoped. We have it priced in the range of other recently sold houses in our area. And that isn't taking into consideration all the updates we have done. Maybe we are making it too personal and not a business transaction. I saw a guy who was smoking take a flyer out of the info tube and thought that I didn't want him to have our house because he would smoke it up - HA! Well, I have some things to get done. Peace to you! posted by Liz at 9:08 AM - permalink - - |

| Here is my blog. It is the thoughts and feelings of an "aging," homeschooling housewife who serves at a local restaurant. I am an average everyday normal kind of person, although my "normalness" becomes less so in today's society. Read on and enjoy or just realize you may not be the only one.
