posting and a little blog history
I need (well, need is a relative concept here) to ramp this blog back up - to start posting on a regular basis. I used to be an extremely regular blogger, had a lot to say, and a good many people read and interacted with it. I like the interaction, if it's positive. I've always liked the connections made in the blogosphere. I hope that's not over for me. Well, let's see if we can turn the volume back up on the old alancreech blog.
I was thinking a little a week or so ago about scouring the archives and re-posting some interesting things I've written over the years. I noted the history and stats - I started blogging, I think, in either 2000 or 2001. There weren't nearly as many of us back then, of any Christian stripe, or any other stripe for that matter. When I first started, I updated my blog "manually" by using Dreamweaver, publishing it on my own web space. I have the archives of some of that very old stuff linked on my right sidebar there.
I finally started using Blogger in, apparently, 2003. I actually have had several blogs, some on different subjects, but it looks like there are 1,230 posts on this main blog since then. I'm not sure how many from before that - a bunch. I may have lost some of them from '01, which makes me sick a little bit, but I'll try to hunt them down and put them up.
Anyway, just some blog memory lane there. Next post will be some old school. Peace and Happy Easter - it's still Easter you know.
