rest and photography
Aaahh, the day of rest... WHAT!? Did you hear the car screaching to a halt noise there? To Mass this morning at 11am, which means Liz and Katey, and usually the kids, leave early for their 10am classes. I have no class (waaatch it) so I stay behind and come later, pick up KcKenzie from her CCD class, and Conor and Meaghan from their Confirmation class, go to Mass, where we don't sit together because Liz and Katey sit up front with their RCIA class.

Today there was no Confirmation class, so Conor and Meagh stayed with me. Oh, we take two cars because Liz has to dash off to work each week after Mass. Today Father of Mercy whozitz went long so we didn't even see each other after. We sort of have to rush out, get home, take Katey to work (she still has a job here on the weekends), come back home, make some brunch, sit down for a little bit. OK, let me breathe... No Confirmation class today because they had a "service retreat" this afternooon. Sooo, I drove back to the church and dropped them off for that. Meaghan had to work at 5 so I had to go baaaack again at 4:30 to pick her up and take her to work, leaving Conor to finish out the service project till 6pm. That was trip number 3 back and forth if you were keeping count. Trip #4 was to go pick Conor up, then stop to pick Katey up at work - home - tacos - chillin' on the couch writing this. Good - Lord - have - mercy.

Craziness. I said photography, so yeah, during one of those trips, I went downtown to walk around and take some photographs while I had "time." You can see the fruit of that here. I think I got some nice shots (that's one of them up there on the left). McKenzie most of this time was out shopping with neighbors, her friend and her parents who offered to take here. She's still out running around. Liz is still at work. Some time tonight, somebody has to take Katey back to EKU. I vote it's not me. Depends on when Liz gets home. Trip number 5 anybody?? The tacos were good, by the way. I think I ate 5 of them. Peace.
