prayer space
Well, there it is. Pretty amazing isn't it? My "prayer space" as inspired and peer-pressured by Chris and Antony. That's Liz's arm there. At present my habit is sitting at the kitchen table every morning with Liz and praying the morning office. Sometimes we get good sunrises or bird sounds too. Consider that a Franciscan plus.

I do have plans for a bit more liturgically impressive space in my study. Ask Kyle, I've been talking about it. I'm going to build a prayer desk with a kneeler. I even have a particular corner beside my desk "sanctified" for its placement. An icon of the Sacred Heart will be on the wall in front. A Crucifix, probably a couple more icons, and candles.

Hmm, maybe I'll build a little tabernacle for the reserved Sacrament we keep in the memorial chapel of St. Thomas Merton too. May be. Don't start with me on that either. I know very well I'm quite off-base to people on two or three sides of a couple of different fences. I realize where I am. And I love you, and you over there too. Grace and Peace to you both.
