Yes, those are the Cliffs of Moher. I think I heard it's actually pronounces Mo - hur. Interesting. They were unbelievable. I still feel like I'm in a Salvadore Dali painting - that is - surreal. I was standing there looking at these actual cliffs with my real live eyes. I smelled the salt air of THIS side of the Atlantic. Pretty wild.

I'm in a pub now called Mrs. O'Brien's Kitchen in a little town on the coast in County Clare called Lahinch. It's very small but sort of a bohemian town that's a surfing mecca of sorts. Yes, surfing. I know the water is freakin' cold but I saw them out there doing it, in wet suits. Funny. They actually have wireless in this place - nice. the man suggested I have a local beer called Red Biddy - good stuff. I just finished it.

I drove around some areas today off the beaten path - way off. I was going to do the Cliffs and The Burren today but the Burren will have to wait. I drove down some exTREMEly small roads back through some farms. It was worth it. I did sort of cry a couple of times today. Yesterday was too crazy, geting acclimated. I like the country better I think.

I met a very nice couple in my Bed & Breakfast yesterday evening - Rod and Jean. They're from South Africa originally but now live in Florida. They own a home too in Ballynahinch in Galway County. They gave me a lot of advice and we talked a good bit about what to see and the country in general, etc. They left this morning and gave me their e-mail. Very nice people. I met an Americal girl last night too - CAREful! - nice girl, in the pub listening to traditional music. She was from Maryland. Pretty cool meeting a few people. I've talked to more people on vacation here than Irish people - funny that.

I'm tired. I just realized that. I need to get off here and go get some dinner and go back to the B&B for the night. Peace be with all of you.
