Post number three of the journey. I actually have wireless internet in my latest B&B, in Oughterard, Co. Galway. Very cool. I'm about to go to bed so this will be quick.
That's Killone Abbey up close and personal. I hiked there today in the misty morning, through cow dung and wet grass, wondering the whole time if I was going to be run off at gunpoint. I think it's a National monument so people can go there?? Not sure but I made it in and out so that's good.
Lot's of driving today - wow. I drove around the Burren - an area of raised limestone escarpment and harsh beauty. Lots of ruins around there too - still Co. Clare. I actually filmed myself driving and uploaded a small version of that - I thought you might like to see that. I also uploaded 120 new photos to flickr. Have fun with that. I'm going to bed. Peace to all in this house.
