mystagogy
I think, first of all, that perhaps I am a mystagogue. Hmm, yeah, I think may be. Now he's gone over the cliff, that's it.

- One who holds or spreads mystical doctrines.
- The interpretation of mysteries.
- A teacher or propounder of mystical doctrines.

I've been reading Letter & Spirit recently, by Scott Hahn. I'm only to chapter 4 or so not really about offering any real commentary yet. I like it so far. Anyway, in one chapter in particular the word mystagogy was used, well, about a thousand times. I haven't been familiar with it so it was helpful. I told Kyle today if Hahn used the word like 10 more times I might drive to Steubenville and smack him in the back of the head or something. That was a joke. Funny ha ha.

As I said earlier though, maybe I've found something out about myself today, or a new way to describe something. I have a concentration in whatever teaching "ministry" I have, on "mysteries" - on the mystical aspects of the faith - on talking about and trying to explain these "things." It's too odd a word to use a lot though, so don't worry, I won't be putting it on my profile over there or anything. I'd be surprised if I used it again much at all really. Just a scattered thought from today. Pax vobiscum.
