sacred heart
God indeed is my savior; I am confident and unafraid. My strength and my courage is the LORD, and he has been my savior. With joy you will draw water at the fountain of salvation .-Isaiah 12 I love the image and the concept of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is on fire with the Love of God for us. It is pierced for us. It bleeds for us and pours forth God's Life to us and on us. I love that He is showing it to us in the icon - "see, here is My Heart, pierced for you, I love you." fully comprehend our salvation in Christ all at once. These are ways to help us see it, understand it, accept it, value it. I'll take that and run with it thanks. Peace. technorati tags > sacred heart , jesus , salvation , symbols , spirituality
