old scanned photos from days gone by . This should be interesting, to me anyway. I'm not supposed to worry about whether you care too much or not so have fun if you like.that's me, in all my 21 year old glory , lookin' all svelte and swarthy. And behind me is my brother, no wait, I don't have a brother. That's this guy , my friend Jeff Prosser . We were at the Galt House in Louisville, Kentucky for the state Baptist Student Union convention. Yeah, you're right, I was never a Southern Baptist, or any other kind of Baptist. I was a Roman Catholic even in the taking of this photo, and that Baptist boy was hugging me (ecumenism in action baby). There's probably even a couple of Saint medals under my shirt. And yes, I was on the student council of the B.S.U. at Eastern that year for a while. I guess they loved me because Liz was my girlfriend (Baptist girl). Pretty funny really. This was in the Fall of 1987 by the way, sometime. That same fall Jeff, his girlfriend, Liz and I all went to see U2 in their legendary Joshua Tree tour at Rupp Arena.
