business of the day
This is what's going on outside at the moment. It's cooking up to around 90 degrees F (32 C) here today. And the humidity is in the air folks. Remember that Roger? ha. It kind of felt like we were at the beach and I walked outside earlier. Sunscreen time. Lordee. I'm not a huge fan of heat, this level of heat anyway. I can do with it never getting above 80F I think. It's been fairly mild so far really. Just now getting really hot.

The heat should be interesting today with Conor's baseball game at 12:30pm. The boys will be out in it big time today. No, we don't live in Saint Louis but he is playing for the Cardinals. Our little leagues do that, name themselves after various pro teams. Look at him over there trying to look all cool. He's 12 folks - good lookin' boy. I think he's taller than one of his coaches too. Pretty funny (5' 9.5"). He's gonna' pass me up in a few years I'm pretty sure.

The Meaghan is doing alright. That's one of her fishing with me a few weeks ago. She's been sitting or lying around with pillows all around her, her little stuffed dog "Billy," in a slightly drug-induced haze. The Sports Medicine Ortho doc said the swelling needs to go down a bit before any procedure can be done. It's scheduled for Tuesday morning at 10am. The bone appears to be only in two pieces, which is a relatively good thing. They may be able to do what's called a closed reduction to put it back in place - while she's anesthetized, the pull the shaft of the humerus down so that the ball section will rotate back on top of it as it should be. That's what we hope will happen. The other option (still not so bad because it will be fixed either way) is to insert an instrument to help move it into place, OR go in totally and put it together with a pin. We'll pray for the first. Anyway, that's the update on her.

That's all for the various and sundry goings on at the Creech household this morning. Have a good weekend. Peace.
