winter has arrived
Given, it's about a month late but it seems to be here for today at least. Bryan and I are happy, as you can tell - taking pictures before we go to work and stuff. Pretty funny. There's a couple of inches of snow and it was still snowing when I came into work. Pretty icy out - that's not the greatest thing, but it goes with the territory.

Now, I try to give way to the opinions of some that snow is "bad" - that they don't like Winter. I try, you know, as if that's a legitimate opinion at this latitude. It's hard. It would be a little more legitimate if you lived just South of here a couple of hundred miles - that's where you get into your "land of no snow." But once again people, I will say it, for all to hear, Kentucky is NOT the South. It's more Southern than Michigan for sure. But it's to the North of more than it's to the South of - in the U.S. anyway. The Midlands I like to call it. So, yeah, it gets cold here - those things called seasons - Winter = cold = snow. That's not bad - it's Winter in the Northern hemisphere. Now, of course, again, I have to give you permission to like it or not, but I can't do anything about how it is. Of course, tomorrow it's supposed to be almost 60 degrees F here so let me have my snow party for a minute.
