The House > That right there is getting more real it seems. We've begun a new process of getting into the new house without having to sell our present one before. It seems this new financing option is going to work for us and we'll be able to do it and perhaps close fairly soon. We still need to sell our present house, but not necessarily before we move into the new one. We may be listing it with a realtor. It should sell pretty quickly then. So, this is moving pretty easily at this point and I'm not used to feeling like something's going to actually work with this house thing - I haven't been anyway. We're getting there. Hopefully we'll be open for guests in a month or so. I guess that's it for now. Sorry for not blogging more lately. It's hard to get my head into what to say with all this going on or not going on as the case may be. I just wanted to share what was going on.

Daily Prayer > Having a good time praying the office two times a week with some friends at lunch. We started this a week ago and it's a good thing. We meet at Noon on Wednesdays and Fridays in a park next to my work, bring our lunches, sit at a picnic table and eat, talk, then pray the Midday Office - called Sext - yes, Sex t (that was a trick to get hits - ha!). It's from the Latin for 6th hour - the traditional name of one of the "little hours" done in the middle part of the day. They're shorter interruptions - only one Psalm and a Scripture reading, with prayers. My running joke has been that we can tell their coworkers that we're "going to do sext with some friends during lunch." Ha! I'm so fawny. Today was a good time with Bryan, Jesse, Kyle and me. You never know who will show up. If you're around the area, shoot me an e-mail and come join us.

Hits > Hmmm, seems my hit count is down lately. I was kidding today that I probably haven't been talking about the "emerging church" enough lately to draw people in. Love is boring I guess. So, I thought and said to my friends, I'll just say emerging church a few times and see what happens. I might even say Emergent with the capital "E" - you never know. I might write a book someday but not now, so I can't promise that. I've already said sex - now twice. This is kind of funny really. I'm just being silly. Anyway, 'bout time for bed. Peace to all in this house.
