connecting
A bit of a slow day at work today - that means some IMing and stuff can go on. It does anyway, but you know, more. I ate lunch with my friend Bryan Sherwood today - good Chinese food and good conversation as always. I got a call from the long lost, dark to the internet for the month, Aaron Klinefelter. He's coming into Lexington on Friday and we're meeting for lunch along with Will Samson (hope I spelled that right), who's just moved to town recently and has connected with Communality, and Pete Matthews, the great Father Peter, you know him. Should be a good time.
I actually have IM connections open with Paul Fromont in New Zealand and Jason Evans in San Diego right now. Connections are good. I've have mutually edifying relationships with these guys for quite a while. I was just reading the other day on some old archived blog posts from 2001 and 2002 about Jason even before we physically met and then about how we got together at the old Search Party conference in St. Louis (who was there and remembers that?). Lots of connections were made there, or at least strengthened.
I'm going through my old stuff, old blog postings, and making a list to link to - an anthology of an emerging journey, if you will. I want to link to things I've written along the way that were and are significant to the ecclesiastical journey I'm still on, and which many of you are on. Look for that in the very near future.
