worn out in chicago
I was tire yesterday. Today I'm worn out. Lots of walking and it was HOT here today. We had a conference seminar which was good, early, then ate a quick lunch - then on to a studio tour. This was riding around in a tour bus to different design studios in Chicago to see how they work. OK, too many freakin' studios are on the 3rd story of a building with no air conditioning! For a fat boy that's a hike and some sweatin'. One place didn't have air at all even in their place of work - nuts! It was cool to see the places but not sure I'd do it like that again. It lasted for 4 hours - aaagghhh!!

I think my favorite place we visited was Segura Inc. - Sun and Carlos Segura run and work here - very cool space. It was built in 1884 - used to be a bank vault and a bank - nice. I'd put a photo up but I'm too tired to go through all that. I will later. The other places - some were cool environments but the Segura's attitude was very cool as well - and we got to/had to take our shoes off to enter.

Ate some good Italian food, took more photos, checked out Josh at the Hot Import Nights show - cars like the Fast and the Furious movie - wild subculture. Anyway, I am, as I said, worn out. Time to move toward the bed. Peace to you.
