dreaming
I've been dreaming a lot lately about our coming monastic community. I've actually been designing the housing that will stand there - pretty funny. I guess it's good to have what you want in your mind - to get it hammered out a little before it's upon you. So anyway, I've been doing that, no huge deal.

We showed the house to a couple yesterday and are showing it again today to someone. I think it will sell soon. This makes my "dreams" more realistic on the monastic front. I know it's 5 or 6 years out but that's not that long. Time is a funny thing. Most of how we handle it has to do with perception and not the actual time passage itself. We mostly need to just be re-educated as to how long things take - that long is not bad - and when our minds are changed in relation to these things, we will gain much more along the journey and get "there" much healthier.

Give us all Grace to dream, Father, and to understand how it works. Help us to grasp how long it will take and accept and live in that time frame. Amen.
